ControlMonitor
- Reports |
| Controllers can go bad at any time, for any reason. And with hundreds
or thousands of control loops in a plant, the only way to stay on
top of controller performance is with an automated, scheduled software
utility. The ControlMonitor Reports module runs as a Windows program
or NT service, and will automatically retrieve the data, perform the
calculations, and report the results on a daily or weekly schedule. |
| Setting up the report is easy
- the program will automatically get the tagnames and structure
from your plant historian. Then just click on a tag to add
it to a report. Specify the time and frequency of the report,
the report destination (e-mail, web server, or printer) and
that's all.
What if the unit is down or a loop is decommissioned? The
report can be set up so that it will only run on specified
criteria, and a flag can be added to any tag indicating its
status. |

|
 |
Two types of reports are available - either
a concise report with numeric metrics on a multitude of tags
per page, or an expanded report that includes measurement/setpoint/output
trends.
And if that isn't enough information, the ControlMonitor
Interactive module has a complete set of graphical tools to
explore any tag over any time period. |
